Bank account with No: 14********014775 , branch Nibuji Bazar, kalna was first freezed without any prior intimation to stake holder and then debited with more than 10K INR again without any intimation / prior communication. This account being a pension account, my mother faced a lot of issues in transactions for 1 and 1/2 months which still remains unresolved as on date

This issue has been clearly communicated and notified to Chief Manager of PNB, Burdwan brach (Mr. Manoj Das) but he is also unable to close the issue and clarify with pronounced details of stated issues. After discussion with him, it is understood that that there was some unjustified incidents happened with this account on the responsibility of branch manager and Chief Manager has also agreed to the fact.

Complain # 1 : Account was freezed suddenly without any information

I am summarizing the complain against "Freeze of account no. 14********014775" hereby with following details.

This account has been closed / freezed suddenly without any prior intimation / concern with the account holder.

We tried to get in touch with the branch personnel to get the details over phone and physical appearance at branch but unfortunately, the required details never came with proper justification and it was notified to us every time that Branch Manager is the sole person to clarify the reason of this sudden occurrence. My mother even visited to branch on 10-Dec-2012 but branch manager didn't accept official complain which was duly signed by my mother and even he didn't bother to talk properly. Even he didn't confirm the exact reason to freeze this account suddenly.

Complain # 2 : Account was debited with 12,179 INR again without any prior communication

While doing the pass book update for this account, it has been found that 12,179 INR is debited from this account on 11-Feb-2012 against NPA ADJUSTMENT OF G DUTTA. We tried to understand the reason of this debit from branch manager and he is relating this debit with a LOAN AMOUNT taken by GARGI DUTTA few years back. But this account is neither related with the loan amount payback to bank nor with any agreement with the loan amount.

Requesting your help once more to get this thing more clarified to us as we are really feeling very unsecured related to this account for last two reasons without any intimation or notice to account holder. This account is used by my mother for pension amounts and we are very scared of the situation for more debits which may again suddenly happen.

Also, we are very sorry to inform you that we are not getting proper support from branch manager in case of any issue / concern raised from customer’s side.
