I would like to bring to the notice of the Authorities of Indian Railways, that the standard of rajdhani express has drastically gone down. There is no Value being received for paying such high tarrif. Cleanliness is the least a traveller expects when they have to spend more then 24 hours in the train. My family recently boarded the train at Bangalore to Nijamuddin (Delhi) on July 5th, train num 12493, Seat Numbers 2nd AC A5 - 25, 26, 27, 28 and it was shocking to see the condition of the bogie, the garbage from the previous travellers had not been cleaned up. The bathrooms were smelling. Who is to be blamed for such a carelessness? Is IRCTC not employing staff that takes care of maintenance? If not, then why are the ticket prices so high and where is all the money going? And if Yes, then isnt there anyone to supervise and check if the staff has been doing their duty or not? Either ways, it is we civilians that are being taken for granted. Coming to food, once upon a time Rajdhani was reputed for the food that it would serve, but now the quality of food has also deteriorated, the temprature of the food is not paid attention to and passengers are served cold food. Again the travellers/ civilians / tax payers are taken for granted. How fair is it? I would like the concerned authority to look into the matter. They owe us an apology along with an explanation.
