Honda Two Wheelers - Poor Performance Unicorn Dazzler

Hi,

My name is Prashant and I reside at Kalyan which is situated in Maharashtra state in lower suburbs of Mumbai.

I purchased a new Honda Unicorn Dazzler from VJ Honda Ulhasnagar. the day I purchased, its trip meter clock settings buttons were not working. I was later been told that it will be rectified in my first service.

Also along with this I am facing a problem in terms of self start, the battrey is really very very weak. Also the ignition again and again getts off even after the tank is full.

Finally after 25 days I got my 1st paid service for my bike. however ignition off problem remained as it was earlier.

Then I didnt started my bike for 2 weeks and 2 weeks later, when I tried to start my bike, it couldnt. As I was pressing start button, the meter lights went off which clearly gave me indication battery is really very poor. On top of that dazzler doesnt have kick so there was no other way to start my bike.

When I called showroo people and told them about this pb that I am unable to start the bike, they told "Gaadi gear me daal dakka de and the bike will start". When I told then but I cant do this everytime, they said they dont have any other option.

I also want to tell Honda company about the misuse of Honda's brand which showroom is doing in Ulhasnagar.

I am Sant Kumar Verma i have purchased cb Unicorn Dazzler, I am meet a road accident on 29-mar-2011, in that reasons my motorcycle is fully dameged.
So i submitted my motorcycle to honda show room at Durgapur City
Center(WB) motor cycle no is WB-40-S-6093 on 12th may 2011 for repearing.
But still i have not receive my motor cycle with a runing condition.
Due to spear parts not avlebal in this company.

I've been using dazzler for more than 1 year, and i have driven 15,300kms as of now. I didnt face any starting problems as of now. Even if i didnt start the bike for 1 week, i could start the bike in 2 to 3 mins without the choke is on.

Hi all Dazzler Users...

Yes I completely agree with this. Honda should change with a more powerful battery. However I can give you one substitute solution. Make sure your fuel tank is filled with atleast 3 to 4 litres. Then you will not face much starting problem. Just try this and continue commenting with your issues.

I support this complaint. my dazzler battery is also going very weak. bike is not starting even if the bike is idle for more than 2 hrs. in roads full of traffic it stops like a stubborn mindless man. i am hugely dissatisfied. i think honda already know this problem, and its a real ignorance on their part to not solve this problem for customers. very very sad n angry with battery performance.

I support this complaint. Honda dazzler battery is definitely very weak. My friend has this same problem, it wont selfstart if bike is not used for 3 days. Now, there is no kicker also. So, how to start the bike ? Big problem if selfstart fails in middle of traffic signal.

Suzuki Gs150r costs 72.5k, Yamaha SZ-R 150cc costs 67k, Unicorn costs 73k and Dazzler costs 77k in bangalore. Dazzler is 10k costlier than SZ-R.

Both Dazzler and SZ-R dont have kicker, but yamaha is offering kicker option for 3k extra. Honda should do the same. But honda is not bothered about solving customer problems, after selling costliest 150cc bike.

I do not support this complain.

Dude, I am also a proud owner of a dazzler and the bike is a smooth a any thing . Try getting the bike service a thane SAI HONDA.

The service is great. I am sure U won't regret.

The bike when new has some start up problem, but yet you will get to understand the mechanic I a while.

For the start up problem the u need to adjust the RPM to 1.3

And also not the gear does not matter; yet to advice always start on a neutral..

I am facing many problems from this byke after 2 days of purchase the wiring of byke shots and the battery goes off

After 7 days it started creating a sound like an iron bed char char............
and after 2 services the problem is going on tne pickup of byke is olso goes down
and the balance is also a big problem

servise center is unable to solve this problem

This is in continuation to my previous complaint for Honda Unicorn Dazzler for which I posted a comment earlier on 2nd August 2010.

As the days pass, problems are increasing. This time my meter console got stuck and is not working at all.

I gave my bike for 2nd free service a week before but showroom people said that meter console has to be replaced completed and the same will be done by company head office's approval.

Since 8th September, they are giving me all such bull shits that Honda Company head office is not giving them approval or response.

This is clear that Honda was known for its customer satisfaction and great quality, no more remains the same.

Hence I would request Honda to please please take some action as it is really effecting the brand value and I am also sure this comment will be read by millions of people and will think 10 times before purchasing any Honda product.

Ihave a honda dazzler i every day gives it a 5km run but the battary always becomes weak this problem i am facing 15days after the purchase at my first service they fully charged the battary but after two weak again i m facing same problem.
