I purchased my Maruti Suzuki Zen estilo in Dec 2010 from popular motors, anna nagar chennai. My vehicle number is TN-10AB-4523. I was promised by the dealer and sales guys that it will give surely 14 kmpl in city. I traded my used Santro with maruti true value for the purchase of estilo based on their comments. I also checked with some users and they said 14kmpl is what they get. But to my surprise it had consistantly given only 8 kmpl. I find the differnece in the drive as well in comparison to a demo car i tested. It does not pick up even on 1st gear and the mileage is very poor. Having reported this in the first service and repeatedly there is no proper response from the dealer as well as the service station. I have taken it to both the service stations at Saligram and ekattuthnagan in chennai. Those guys did not even check for any blockages. Just as a part of first service did a water wash and sent my car back. They gave me lame reason that that car has to run 10,000 km. How much gas would it gulp for 10,000 km at @km per litre and also the ekattuthangal service station guys were pretty rude to me. I am not satisfied with the way things are handled. Need a speedy response.
