Kind Attn : Mr Balasundaram,
Life Insurance Corporation of India
Branch Manager,
CBO – 20 – Chennai – II
Sir,
Sub : Maturity Payment delay of my policy No. ending with 310
This is with ref. to my four policies matured in the month of Sep 2012.
In this regard, I have received a letter from your branch stating wrong credit of my maturity amount to a different policy holder.
I had already submitted all my original policies and discharge summary statements along with a cancelled cheque leaf for credit into my account.
I was holding 4 policies viz three policies in my name and one policy in my wife’s name Smt S Hemalatha.
Out of the 4 policies, 2 in my name and 1 in my wife’s name has been given payment credit to my account and to my wife’s account on 29th Oct, 2012.
The said one policy for which the maturity amount Rs 95,107/- has been wrongly paid to a different policy holder
is still pending at your end.
I have not received any responsible reply or tentative date for discharge of payment of the said policy.
I am confident that Life Insurance India still keeps up its value in customer service.
The delay caused in making my maturity payment is unknown and only known to yourself.
If the delay is extended, I will be forced to approach your higher authorities or such authorities relevant to this.
I would appreciate a responsible reply along with the payment from your office.
I regret that an organization with such repute as Life Insurance corporation of India can offered to make
such negligence.
I can be contacted on my mobile ********06 or my email id – pvc1969@gmail.com for any clarification in this regard.
Sincerely Yours,
Venkatachalam Padmanabhan
