Travelled from Pune to Chennai by Train No.11041 CSTM Chennai Exp. on 30/4/2011 PNR No. 835-2199333 & return by Train No.11028 Mumbai Mail on 2/5/2011 Chennai to Pune PNR No.453-8241025.
On Purchase of a 8 branded mineral water BIBO sold by the authorised train caterer Ms. Sunshine caterer Pvt. Ltd. , I have been charged Rs.15/- per bottle as against the printed MRP of Rs.12/-.
The caterer has given me an official bill for Rs.15/- each. Bill No.1738 & 1744 dtd.30/4/11 resp. However the MRP printed on the bottle clearly states Rs.12/- with clear printed mention of "'Specially packed for IRCTC-MRP Rs.12/-
Please clarify who is correct in their pricing. The caterer M/s Sunshine caterer Pvt. Ltd. or Bibo Packaged drinking water company where MRP is printed.
IRCTC should clarify the correct position & print correct price, so as to avoid inconvenience to passengers instead of we passengers hearing abuses from the caterer staff when we seek a clarification.
If the caterer is overcharging, then please let me know the action that will be taken on the train authorized caterer.
Caterer bills & the bottle can be submitted as proof if required.
Regards,
Roy
