Due to hostels around in Nungambakkam New Street the drainages are getting blocked frequently. Its more of a user perspective rather than cleaners. Every time we go and complaint the sewage board and they clean up the drainages. But there has been no permanent solution for this as due to hostels being built in residential locality. The cleaners complaint about napkins being stucked in the drainage. Because of one small hostel the entire locality is being effected. How far is it wise ? More over the drainage water is being mixed in our day to day usage of Bore water. No complaint can be made as the corporation is least bothered to respond or take appropriate action. What are the people in this locality to do with ? Can this be looked upon as the basic requirement of water and hygine is not provided to the citizens. Request immediate action.
