Cheque No.273667 for Rs.40,000/- issued by Post Master, Purulia (W.B) dated 23.02.2013 payable at SBI,Purulia was redeposited on 15.04.13 for clearence in my wife's account no.203******** at your branch at Vasundhara,Ghaziabad. Till today my cheque has not been credited. A complaint letter has been submitted to the Manager on 06.05.13 but no action has been taken so far. Iwas informed by the Bank official that registered letter containing my cheque has been sent on 20.04.13 through a manually operated post office (Registry no.1221) without bar code, hence it can not be tracked. I made several personal visit to the Bank but they are not serious about my problem. Only twelve days are left for the expiry of cheque.
