I am thoroughly disappointed with the performance of HTC One V & the poor response from HTC.
I bought the phone in May 2012. In Oct the motherboard failed and was replaced under warranty. Again after 15 months of purchase, the motherboard failed a second time. HTC is refusing to replace the motherboard free of charge and is asking me to pay Rs 8,000 for it, nearly 50% of the cost of the original phone. The last mail I received was on 23rd Sept when they promised that a senior representative of HTC will be contacting me. Even after 3 days, nobody has contacted me.
Based on my extremely unhappy experience with HTC, I would not recommend anybody to buy their products.
