On 20th june 2009 HDFC bank has debited rs 32,287.41 from my savings account number 0********24703. since that date i have requested many times on HDFC bank customer care but i have not recieved the amount.


Bank states that the deduction is an part of credit card bill which i was suppose to pay. where as i does not hold any bank credit card.

Also when i enquired from the credit card department of HDFC bank then they say that , credit hard holder name is different, his name, address and everything else does not match my data base. The only thing which is common is our first name ( Rakesh)

Now their may be lacks Rakesh in our country so am i liable for everyones liablity.???



I have lost the faith in this banking system and finally i have approached Consumer Forum for justice.


Kindly help me in this regard.
