Hi,
I lost my mobile (Samsung Wave S8500) at Koramangala Sony World signal at 10.30am. As soon as I got down from the crowded 201 R bus I figured that my mobile is missing. I got back onto the bus and tried to check for the mobile, I called the number, the mobile kept ringing but nobody picked up, the mobile was not in the bus. The bus was really crowded and while getting down I had to push through the bunch of people standing at the gate. The thief it seems had picked my pocket then and got down immediately from the bus at the same son world stop.
Later I went to the Koramangala police station to lodge an FIR. I was told that I will not get FIR but I need to produce the bill and submit a written complaint about the incident. I did the same and got a xerox copy of my complaint signed and stamped by the police. My question is if my mobile gets lost should I not get an FIR registered? I have the complaint letter but no complaint number to track the same. Will it be enough to get the mobile tracked?
Sorry, forgot to mention the following......
IMEI no. 354627042133878
Phone no. 9980476244 for the mobile I was using.

Hi,
It seems that 201 bus route is notorious for mobile thefts! Many of whom I said that I lost my mobile immediately asked if the bus route was 201. It seems that this is a kind of planned theft and there is a big racket involved in it. I urge you to take up this matter seriously and track them down quickly. I had also requested the police at Koramangala PS.
They have asked me check at their control room after 10 days. But 10 days is too long a time and by then thieves will be well and truely gone!
