Dear Sir,

I have purchased MicroMax Yurekha mobile phone from amazon.com in the month of Aptil-2014, I have attracted about specifications and features of said product

After purchasing the above product since day 1 I am getting 3 major problems

1. Above mobile is getting over heat without any reason I am unable to hold the mobile in my pocket.
2. While incoming call my mobiles screen is not activating ( I am unable to take the calls (if I put earphones to the moble then only it is activation)
3. After completing the Incoming / outgoing calls I am unable disconnect them (for example : If mad any outgoing call and outside person is busy with another call I am unable to disconnect the call because the screen is automatically turning in to sleep mode it is not getting in to normal mode)

I have trying companies toll free numbers 1860–212-2122 & 1********86 are not working, I have sent multi email to the company, After sending 4th email to the company they have send reply to 3rd mail by stating that need to change some configuration mobile if still problem is not resolve they asked me to send battery screen image from mobile phone .I have visited MicroMax service center in Hyderabad, They rejected to give service to the YU mobile.

I did whatever they said but problem is remains same ,I have send reply with screen images and requested to provide any service center in Hyderabad, I am ready to pay the service charges even thought my mobile is warranty mode

I did not received any replay from the company, I am requesting you to please help me on above issue

To day i have visited Micro max service center in Hyderabad ,They have informed me that they cant take Yu for servicing ,Iam forwarding service center details here

I have total 2 major problems with this phone

1. My phone getting over heat ( i am unable to hold phone in pocket)
2.a)screen is not appearing on incoming calls

When i am getting incoming call , the screen is not appearing ,If i put head phone to the phone then only i am able to receive the incoming call

b)Screen is not appearing after completing out going call

Screen is not in active mode after complete out going call and i am unable to close the call because my mobile screen is in not active position ,

I am requesting you please give me the solutions or suggest any service center in Hyderabad , in my previous mails i have already informed you that if any service charges is applicable i am ready to pay

Dear Sir,

I never use to brows internet,Never use to play games or never use whats app/face book during working hours,
Without any reason it is getting too much heat more than 50 degree centigrade's,

Normally in office hour's i use to make calls and received the call's that it ,I am unable to put mobile in my pocket because of over heat,

One more major problem is - Morning hours i am unable to pick the the calls from Y.U, because when call is ringing it is not displaying until i put my mobile in sun light,If i press unlock key my mobile getting in to silent mode,

I am requesting you to please provide us service center address in Hyderabad,i will visit there to get solution,

If i did not find any solutions please take back the device and give my money back

In response to your query, we would like to inform you that device may get heat up normally while playing games, surfing internet etc. Sometimes Battery also gets drained quickly in these scenarios. It may be either due to excessive usage of applications or media files.
In case of overheating and battery drainage, we would recommend you to delete unwanted applications and media files. In case you are using a high capacity SD card, for example more than 16 GB. We would recommend you to try after removing the SD Card. It is an inherent property of Android that it creates thumbnails of the media files on the device due to which, it's likely that the device may get heat up or loose excessive battery. Once the thumbnails are created, it will come back to its normal state, generally within 48 - 72 hours.
And we would also like to request you to go to settings>>battery>>and see whether media server is consuming most of your battery.
If media server is consuming much of the battery it is because all of the reasons below mentioned:
1. There could be a corrupt file in the system that's causing media server to actively look for new media all the time, thereby consuming access battery as well as heating the device.
2. There could be a virus in phone/SD card which is causing mediaserver to behave abnormally.
3. New media from the SD Card is getting synced in the gallery.
For resolving this media server problem, we would like to request you to reset your phone by following the below mentioned steps:
Create the back up of your device data and remove the memory card as well,
Switch OFF the mobile>> Press 3 buttons together(volume up + volume down + power button) till
the phone starts up again >>Recovery screen will appear>> Go with the option 3 (wipe data/factory reset)
and select "yes-delete all users" + Option 4 (Wipe Cache Partition) + Option 5 (Wipe media) and select "yes-delete all user media" + Option 1 (Reboot System Now).
We request you to use the device for 3 days and see if the heating has lessen.
Also, we recommend you to do a few battery cycles. Please follow the steps below to do the same.
1. Please charge the battery to 100%.
2. Let it consume the battery, upto 1 - 2% , please don't recharge the phone in between.
3. Once it's completely drained, please charge it again to 100%.
4. Follow this at least 3 - 4 times, for battery to come to it's normal state.
Also, in case it has not, please reply with the screenshot of the below mentioned screen.
Settings >> Battery ( Please take a screenshot of the complete screen. In case it doesn't come in one screenshot, you may take two).
To take a screenshot, you can press Volume down + Power Key for 2 secs. It will take the screenshot.
P.S : Battery may behave abruptly for the initial 2 - 3 days, but it will get normal automatically after a few battery cycles. This is happening because Cyanogen being a new Operating System, it takes a while for the battery to get compatible.
