We have purchased Maruti Swift in May-2012 from Sai Service Kolhapur.The vehicle was run hardly 25000 KM and we have done regular services. To our surprise the Gear system got failed ,clutch plate worn out etc.When we shown to Maruti work shop they have given a list of work to be done and the cost. Few things were changed under waranty and few I have to pay. But how the Car like Maruti can give problem like this within 18 months and that also running of 25000 KM. People purchase Maruti for its less maintenance and low maintenance cost.But the same is not true and the Maruti service centre people charging as per their wishes.After the free service they have asked for Rs 20000 for service charges. When ewe have enquired,the same is reduced to Rs 13000. If this is the case this will spoil the reputation of Maruti.We have one more vehicle from Hundai and we found better service and less price than the Maruti. As per the maruti , lot of Swift vehicle manufactured during this period is having problems.If this is the case company should do the work free of coat as other reputed companies do.
