Sir,

I have lost my mobile phone iPhone 4G in a BMTC bus # 276C on March 5, 2011 at about 9pm from majestic Bus Stand. I am sure I had the phone before I boarded the bus but when I got into the bus, I realised someone had taken it from my pocket. This is a very expensive phone and lots of my contacts are there in it. The thief has switched off the phone when I tried calling it. I have registered a compaint with the Vidyaranyapura Police Station. I have the phone IMEI number with me 012545001075464 and I have got a new SIM with the same number from BSNL. My contact number is ********23. If possible, please help me trace my mobile.

Thanks,
Sumeer.

As it being a expensive loss I would suggest you to apply little pressure on the police and they can trace the mobile in cordition with the operators once new sim is inserted using the IMEI NO, though I doubt police will co-operate and help you, they usually use the service for solving criminal cases and in India operators don't give the facility to lock the device.
