Respected Mam
I am holding icici credit card for last 2 years. Last year due to
icici bank my cheque got bounced Due to that I faced lot of problems
but after regular follow-ups my charges got reversed. First I was
told to make first payment of 10000 rs which I made. After that
regularly interest was charged on my card as I was making partial
payment on my card I regularly followed up Kanpur office and customer
care centre that please give me some relief regarding my interest
charges but there was no response from their side they always said
that it’s under bank policy that not to reverse the charges. I have
sent mail to all grievance departments but no action was taken I have
pasted all the conversation. Till date I have been charged around
8000rs as interest charges. Mam in December again due to bank mistake
my card was misused on irtc site due to which I have to face lot
problem I have to close down my card also. They reversed my charges
but they forgot to reverse service charges which after regular
follow-ups got reversed. Sir I just want some relief in my interest
charges as its very difficult for me without any job to pay 8000rs as
interest charges.
MAM I JUST WANT TO KNOW THAT WHEN A CUSTOMER MAKES A MISTAKE BANK
CHARGES INTEREST OR LATE PAYMENT (FINANCIAL BURDEN ON CUSTOMER) ON
HIM/HER. BUT WHEN BANK MAKES A MISTAKE NO PENALTY (FINANCIAL BURDEN)
IS CHARGED THEY SIMPLY PASS THROUGH BY REVERSING THE MISTAKE or
CHARGES. AT LAST IT’S CUSTOMERS WHO HAS TO SUFFER IS THIS A VALID
JUSTIFICATION. Mam I want an easy solution regarding this problem.
