Delhi Traffic Police and Mr. Kejriwal,

I would request you to please increase max speed limit on Delhi roads from stone age limit of 50 kmph to 70 kmph, as its very difficult to maintain new age cars and bikes below 50 kmph on deserted roads.

Few days back I was challaned for driving on 67 kmph on a holiday at deserted road of Dwarka at 3 PM. The whole is moving ahead and Delhi roads too got better but not speed, giving an opportunity to Delhi Traffic Police harass us.

I totally agree with the above complaint and would also like to request the Honorable Chief minister of Delhi Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and the Commissioner of Delhi Traffic police to kindly increase the speed limit from 50kmph to at least 60kmph on at least outer ring road and ring road.

Surprisingly I was also penalized three months ago for driving at 69 kmph while descending the flyover before power house at Pitampura on the outer ring road. The ASI on duty also took my licence asking me to get it from the Rohini authority after three months.

When I have visited the authority yesterday after 92 days I was told that they have not received the licences till date.

I feel the personnel who are authorized to issue the challan should also be responsible to submit the licence on time to the authority.
