It is with deep regret that I wish to inform you about my unsatisfactory experience in a transaction with a technician at a TATA Indicom service centre in Swargate, Pune.
I gave my handset, purchased on 29th May, 2010, at the service centre on the 5th of June after it went completely blank and would not switch on. I was told that there existed a problem with the motherboard by the technician and I was to expect the repaired handset a week later on i.e. on 12th June, 2010. The handset was not ready on the promised date due to unavailability of motherboard as stated by the technician.
The cell has not been repaired till date as the motherboard seems to be out of stock at the service centre. The message has been relayed to me with curt replies on the phone which has dampened my positive expectations from using a TATA Indiciom service.
On requesting a cell replacement letter, the technician flatly refuses any entertainment on that regard. I wish to let you know that my rent for the service is rendered as a futile payment as I am not able to avail the same.
Kindly investigate the matter and help me experience a better value-for-money service with TATA Indicom.
