I purchased a Bissell Powerforce bagless Vacuum Model number 6583 in November of 2009- right just a few months a ago. Let me just start by saying it does not live up to its name Powerforce what a laugh nor does it even remotely live up to the hype that it is a great vacuum for the price. It should also be noted that the replacement parts cost more than the vacuum itself.

Then you call the warranty department when it is spitting out more than it picks up. They want you to trouble shoot which means take the vacuum apart, then clean it out, inspect every part which you have surely already done because the bottom line is you want to VACUUM your floors!!!! Well the trouble shooting does NOT work out you now have to reassemble the vacuum cleaner and try to vacuum again. No luck same dirt still on the floor even more since everything that was in your vacuum is now out! So the next solution take your vacuum to a Bissell service center. Where the gentleman tells you the vacuum is a piece of junk and it is not worth fixing when you can buy a better more reliable vacuum from him that he will be available to service. By the way does that mean it really is Not reliable. Forty-five minutes later you leave with your broken vacuum and the choice of buying another or sending it back to Bissell which will cost you 16 dollars UPS. What a waste.
