My BSNL phone no. 0124 2326768 went dead on 4/07/2010. I registered a complaint at 198 on 5/07/2010 vide docket no. 24177.Since then I have been trying through different channels to contact the authorities to get my phone in order.All my efforts have failed so far.
Actually the linemen of the area are behind all this as I refused to oblige them.
Today I phoned the SDO of the area Mr. Bhargav and apprised him of the situation on his mobile no.09416026025.Most of the time his phone was busy,however I was successful to talk to him and told him about my problem.He assured me to get my phone in order but so far there is no result.
I was also told to contact his deputy at his mobile no.0941600224.Itried his no. many times but he did not bother to reply even once.
Icalled the office of the GM at 0124 2391818 and I was assured that my complaint would be attended shortly but no body bothred to attend to my complaint.
Iam at at loss whom yo contact as all the officers are callous and indifferent to the complaints of tge consumerts.
It appears the consumers are still at the mercy of linemen even after 63 years of India gaining independence.
BSNL is in a sorry state of affairs.
