Recently i came know that LIC policy which was inactive more than 5 years cannot be renewed . I enquired with the branch office recently that told you cannot revive the policy and at the same time money i deposited was lost . I didn't aware of this policy lapsing period limit , when at the time of registering . My question is why LIC didnot send any notification stating that my policy is about to expiry and why they reveal me that if policy is not renewed within 5 years , you cannot get the amount deposited . Now i wish to renew that policy and moreover i fear , if suppose i am going to open new policy , what kind of assurance that LIC give me to aware of the services they are following .
