I have bought LIC Policy No. 4******** from Suri Branch (West Bengal/District-Birbhum) via agent Mr. Afrozahmed Khan (03590461) dated 19.01.2009. Meanwhile I have got transferred from my previous location (Bakreswar Thermal Power Project, Birbhum, West Bengal) to my present location(NTPC Barh STPP Stage-II, BHEL PSER Barh Site Office, District- Patna, Pin 803215). This addres change was not intimated to LIC India. So, upon maturity LIC sent the discharge voucher to my past location and so received late since the same was diverted by the postal department to my Permanent Address. When contacted with Suri Branch (034********), they told to send the discharge voucher duly filled and signed, NEFT form, the original deed and a cancelled cheque to the Suri branch. All the documents were sent to the Branch Manager, Suri Branch by Speed Post almost two months back and later they also confirmed the receipt of the same. Recently when contacted many times they are telling that the payment (Rs 36350) will take some time due to low man power at the branch. Please do the needful by making NEFT payment to the account number as mentioned in the NEFT form.
