I have a Salary A/c No. 00********59 since 2004 with your branch at Aundh branch Pune. The A/C has been freezed suddenly without any intimation although my email address is also registered with you. This fact came to my knowledge when i was trying to transfer fund. On contacting customer care I came to know that it was due to freezing of my a/c and the reason was non-credit of salary, I told them that i have been in Australia since last 6 months and unable to come to India for next 6 months. one of the cust care gave me the solution to send all id proof and my passport xerox copies attested by my "commonwealth bank Australia and i sent documents to icici bank again i got message that the attested copies were not valid as my australian bank attested it. Then again i have been told to send the documents attested by "Indian Embassy of Australia". Again i made the procedure and sent the documents. Now i have been told that the documents which i have sent could'nt be found although i have proof. In this matter i spent my precious time and 2 days leave and 40 $ AUD for postage expense.
Then they told me to contact the branch of ICICI where my A/C is. I told them that I am out of india and as such contacted by phone with the branch manager who asked for address proof document and my photograph.
And till this date my account is in freeze position as i sent my documents on 27 January 2011. Now my question is ISN’T THIS HARRASSMENT ON THE PART OF ICICI BANK to resort to such extreme measures of freezing my salary a/c, I m unable to withdraw or transfer the money, for my family needs in india.
Hope After this complaint my account will be un freezed
thanks and regards,
