Dear Sir/Madam,
I have given my Honda Unicorn bike bearing Regn. no. KL 43B 2117 for paid servicing to Muthoot Honda , Thoppumpady on 29 Sep 11. The problems i faced in my bike are explained to the supervisor. The defects were as follows:
(a) Noise from front disc brake
(b) Zig Zag movement of front wheel during travel.
On 30 Sep 11 i received my bike after servicing. The supervisor informed me that there was a problem with front cone set and they replaced with new one,front disc brake pad worn out and replaced.They have charged total of approx. Rs 1300 for the entire job including labour charge.
On the same day i have experienced an abnormal noise from the front disc brake area and the front wheel shows a wavy movement with out the control on handle.
Next day i have reported the problem to the servicing center (Muthoot Honda, Thoppumpady) and they have adjusted the cone set bearing and also informed me that the problem may be because of less tyre pressure. I have inflated the tyre to normal pressure. But the problem not solved. The problem still existing and now i am very upset with the problem.Now i am not having full confidence to drive the bike because of this problem. Moreover the supervisors are not able to find out the cause of defect.
In addition, last month oil seal was found damaged and replaced and shock absorber oil also changed.
Being a reputed company, i expect from you to take some necessary action immediately to solve the problem and to ascertain the safety.
