I take great pain to inform you that once again HDFC credit cards have not lived up to the expectations of a customer .Despite my repeated attempts to atleast get a statement i was unable to get a statement for the month of june and preceding which i had already called and emailed earlier to get my statements i have a written communication from HDFC that my creditcard details were updated but nothing was done as such .To tell you teh story from the begining i never received a statement till date from HDFC bank so one fine day as usual i get a collections call on 05/07/2009 informing payments are due i informed the sweet lady that please be informed i need a statement either on my email or a hard copy to which she said will get it dispatched but to my long awaited wait i just got calls from colletions thatt he printer is not working so we cannot send you statements ...is HDFC so poor a company thaat you cannot afford a printer and tell me how hard is it to get a email sent butno email was sent i even called customer care to which i was sent an statement on email ...ATTACHED IS A COPY FOR all THE STATEMENTS ...so when informed that i was unable to get the statement so do not want any charges the rep named Renu informed that we have no call on it so when asked for a supervisor a call back was arranged its been a long time i am waiting for the supervisor to call and then itself i have a courier dispactched that wa sreceived by me on july 25 so if u calclulate a response so much delayed .....look at it ....and then a person named From: AbhishekKumar.Saxena@hdfcbank.com had the odassity to send me screen shots giving me details of payments on urjent basis .....and a charge of late payment ...
You tell me that as a consumer i dont have any statement how in the world can i make payments if you check earlier i used to make paymentss on accounts only at the refrence of your collection team but one fine day i realised i was being subjected to late fees that i was never informed .
and to sum it up more you give a customer a limit worth 40000 then u message that the limit has been increased to 44000 and the u drop it to 35000 ....What is it thats going on tha is not commuicated at all .
So here i shall legally take HDFC into the consumer court and the credit card redressal department to answer the same it was only the reson that i was stopped earlier was because i understand mistakes happen but if they repeat themselves again and again I AM SORRY
Please treat this as a legal notice /SHOW CAUSE failing no reply from HDFC shall be treated as a notice
Sir actually speaking i also donthave time to think about all this but HDFC itself has made the circumstances to be such so u tell me am i at fault anywhere .

Instructions for Opening the E- statement

Click on the attachment provided with this mail. You will be prompted for your password.

The 8 character password is a combination of the first 4 characters of your name (as it appears on your Monthly Statement) and the last 4 digits of your 16-digit Credit Card number (If your card has been upgraded/ reissued recently, please use the last 4 digits of your new card number).

For instance,

if your name appears on the Monthly Card Statement as RAVI SHANKAR with Card number as 4346 7710 1122 3456, then the password would be RAVI3456

if your name appears on the Monthly Card Statement as R. SHIVA KUMAR with Card number as 5176 3510 1122 3355, then the password would be RSHI3355

If you encounter any problem in opening your E-statement, please check whether:

You have entered the first 4 characters of your name (ignore spaces and periods, if any)

You have entered the last 4 digits of your card (new card number if it is a reissued card)

Your web/e-mail administrator allows e-mails with attachments.

Depending on your personal spam filter settings, your e-statements might be directed to your junk folder rather than Inbox. Please check in both.

Instructions for making payments

If you are an HDFC Bank account holder, you can pay your Card outstanding through NetBanking/ ATM Funds Transfer.

If you do not hold an account with HDFC Bank, you can pay your Card outstanding through NEFT (Use IFSC code HDFC0000128)/ Visa Money Transfer

Alternately, you can pay your card outstanding through cheque. Please draw the cheque favoring your “HDFC Bank credit Card No. xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx” (16-digit card number).

Write your name and telephone/Mobile No. at the reverse of the cheque and drop it in an HDFC Bank drop box placed at your nearest HDFC Bank Branch.
