I have a voltas split 1.5ton a/C purchased 3 years back.(In fact we have 3 voltas split a/C s in our house).Being a professional myself( I am a doctor) I have always believed in getting my house gadgets and electronic appliances always serviced and repaired only from authorised service centres.
When I came to know that voltas has become the no.1a/C brand in our country .I was delighted thinking that I was right to put my trust in this company, but to my utter dismay ,what happened to me in past few weeks ,during my experience with your authorised service centre-ginny aircon has caused harrassment to me as a genuine customer.Details of the shockingly unprofessional behaviour of your authorised service centre and mr sandesh are as follows…
my ac was not cooling so I called your call centre and logded a complaint( no-12jl0103275).A visit was made by service person 9vicky) on 01/07/2012 who took visit charges 400/- And said that gas has to be replaced and it will cost 1800/- Rs.On 3rd july gas was put by mr afroz from ginnyaircon and I paid rs/-1800 to him with job card number7515.
Thinking that a good job had been done I was happy ,but little DID I know of the horror that followed.On 12th july the cooling stopped again and I again called the callcentre and also ginny aircon (mr sandesh) and they reactivated my original complaint and paid a visit saying that leakage has to be checked, they took one week to check for leakages and ultimately on 20th july took my indoor unit to their service centre saying that it was at fault
as the same problem had occurred in sep-2011 also where they took 3-4 weeks to get my ac fixed ,(call slip number11sp1100033., I had become very wary of your authorized service centres ability to do my work.However mr sandesh of ginny aircon assured me that the leak will be fixed soon.
Finally after keeping my a/C for a week I suddenly got a call from mr sandesh that my ac could not be repaired as its cooling coils were damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced and that it would cost me rs 4500 .As I still had trust I asked him to go ahead but I also checked on my own from other sources about the cost and I came to know they cost around rs 3000.When I contacted ginny aircon again ,mr sandesh said that 4500 is that actual cost of original volts cooling colis .Then when I insisted that I should be given a bill and that I would counter check from the company he suddenly panicked told me that he had checked but the cooling coils are out of stock and amazingly offered to put coils procured by him at lower cost.By now as it was more than 3 weeks since I was wiithout my ac and finding his behavior suspicious I threatened that I would complain against him and asked for my ac to be sent back without repair.
He send it back to me and then I got it fixed from local repair man where the coil leakage was fixed within 2 days my ac was repired and is now working fine
now I want clarification and action taken by voltas against this unprofessional behavior of your authorised service centre and the harassment caused to a customer who wanted his ac to be serviced and repaired by authorized people but ultimately my local man completed the job without cheating me
