Hi..

I and my sister went to this consultancy in jun 2010. It is a fraud company. I request all of you not to got to this place. A girl calling herself Priyanaka called my sister with lot of promising job openings. When we went there she said there is an opening in American Express for finance job with a salary ranging between Rs. 20-22k and asked us to pay immediately if we wished to apply. They asked for registration charges of 1900 with assurance of full return if we don't get a job. We got enticed by the offer and paid. After few days they arranged an interview at amex however later the job was for some menial profile that to night shift at salary of Rs 8000. But Priyanka assured us that they will get it changed soon. After few more days they asked us to pay Rs 3000 for getting a desired profile, which we paid like fools and obviously didnt get a job. Now when we asked for our money back this sweet sounding chick 'Priyanaka' was totally a changed person who was shouting and threatening us. She went to the extent of saying call goons and all if we had any courage, and said she will see how anyone can harm her and their fraud company. This company is extremely fraud, we have been cheated but belonging to a good family we don't wish to get into the case of police. I think these cheats take this as their advantage and fool thousands of people everyday. Please guys don't go to this place. They are using the name of Monster.com to promote themselves and that's how we got trapped. Please don't trust them. They are not only cheats but probably have contacts with goons too!!!

Hi Again, dear internet users..
Hadn`t thought i will update the blog soon but something happened which pushed me to do so.

And this is how it goes, my brother (a B.Tech fresher who is hanging between 59 % and 60% which prevents him from appearing in lot of written tests in IT companies) creates a profile on the popular job sites, and guess what he gets a mail from jobscarrer07@gmail.com saying his CV was shortlisted and asked to call a number to get this process through. Usually freshers like these are more vulnerable as they don`t get much calls and they make perfect prey for them.

I called this number and was told that paying 3800/- to some account will pave the way for me for 4 joining letters right away and there will be a training for 21 days after which i will be posted in my line of work. They (a lady named Anita - m sure that isn`t her real name even ) told that a salary of 22K is up for grabs .. Sounds too good to be true ?.. well thats exactly what i am talking about here..

Do not fall for such frauds.. I repeat.. DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY to get offer letter without doing anything...

Based on my recent experience with crooks like this one.. i have compiled a list of indicators that can serve as litmus test to identify them, please go through the points below -

1. Poor English - The mails will be drafted poorly and without any professional antiquate. (Punctuations, indents missing) and may be written just like a paragraph. One such example is here - "U R APPLIED ON PORTAL 4 JOB WE HAVE OPENINGS IN BANK OF
AMERICA,WNS,CSAV,GENPACT,WIPRO,HCL,IBM,CONVERGYS,PATNI
COMPUTERS,HEWITT ETC FOR BACKEND ,FINANCE,HR,VOICE&NONVOICE
BOTH,SOFTWARE TESTING,SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, LANGUAGES BASES IF U R
INTERESTED CALL US ********04 ANITA BCZ UR CV HAS BEEN SELECTED OVER
THERE DEFINITELY I WILL HELP U"
-> Notice the sms language in the message and no sense of grammer, everything packed just like a paragraph, professionals don`t do this.

2. Sense of urgency - They will not even give you full days’ time, they will ask if when did you get this number and ask you to pay in the next 2-3 hrs or else the so called companies where they are going to place you will not accept the CV afterwards.

3. Lack of transparency - if you ask them to which HR they have forwarded the mail or can they CC you in the communication to those HRs, they will divert this and never answer this question.

4. Offer that is too good to be true - remember always- id something feels like too good to be true, it most probably is!!

5. Mail in capital letters usually to increase the sense of urgency.

6. If you give them a call and they are busy, later they will give a missed call, so the intent is to have you spend all the money without shelling out a dime from their pocket.

7. Usually the mail will be sent from some yahoo, gmail or general Ids, no registered organization`s email id.

So my suggestion is, ALWAYS do your research BEFORE you fall into such traps, no use doing it after you are fooled. Look up on the net and you may find people would have posted something that may save your hard saved money.

BEST OF LUCK!!
