i had taken my Blackberry Bold 9780 for camera problem, my phone was in working condition on31st oct 2011. they accepted the phone and after a 10 days they send me an email saying that the motherboard is burnt and that it was water logged so it cannot be repaired. i went to pick up my phone and the phone was not working at all. when i gave them my phone it was in perfect working condition except the camera would not open. the screen of my phoe was also changed i could make out a the scratch guard on it was missing . i confronted sushil the manager of the store and he kept the phone for repairs and said he will look into the matter. but he has now told me he cannot repair it and that i should go and get the phone repaired from outside. its under warranty and i have used the phone only for 6 months. this is clear cheating and i refused to pick up the handset and told him i want it in the same condition i gave it to them. they are just sitting quiet and say do whatever you want even the manager of north west mr Randhir no ********00 does not pick up his phone.
if my phone was water problem how come they did not charge me in the start like they do to others. i saw them when they check the phone they were not accepting phones with water problem. they made me pay rs 180/- to get my phone back the first time but on confronting the Sushil he immediately took the phone back and sent it without any resistance and was ready to give back the phone without any charges. he has also given it to me in writing that the Phone was in working condition when given for repair.
