Hi,

My name is Neeraja & I had two numbers from Airtel (99720-87654 & 99723-87654). From the month of October 2010, both my Husband & I, do not have jobs. Hence, were not able to make the bill payment in time. The same was explained to the executives who had called for the payment too.

However, off-late my relatives & friends have been receiving threatening & abusive calls from a person who claims to be from the legal department of Airtel. He has been using words like - F****** & B****** (too dirty to be explicit) and more, on all people he is talking to irrespective of how they are related to me.

He had called me a prostitute to one of my relatives & told them too that he will come in person & slap them with his chappals since he has their address.

One of the last calls to one of my friends came from the number +********0139 & the person claimed himself to be an advocate with Airtel & his name to be Ajay Kumar (hard to believe). The language he used was the same against my friend & when my friend had told him that he will file a case against Airtel for being explicitly abusive, his response to that was he doesn't care about any cases or complaints against him & that Airtel had authorized him to use such language to collect money.

Now this is how a customer, who had been loyal with Airtel for more than 6 long years (including mobile, broadband & DTH), gets treated in-spite of me informing them about my current situation.

Even if I had been a defaulter with out informing them, is this the language they use & is this how a customer & every one known to them gets treated ? Just because they have the list of calls made from those numbers.

Is there anyway that I can file a case against this abuse ?

Is any one from Airtel listening to this ?

I can be reached at neerajar9@rediffmail.com. I do not have a numbers presently due to my financial problems. Hence, only my email address.

I am scared to divulge any details as to where I am residing right now, since I do not know if any of these Goondas will really land up at my place & start beating up people !

I would never ever recommend Airtel to any one in my whole life any more.

Regards
Neeraja

This is ridiculous. Cant Airtel employees see the comments written clearly or is it they tend to ignore ?

MY ISSUES IS NOT SORTED OUT TILL NOW !

I have written emails twice to airtelpresence@airtel.in with no response....

Why don't you all go for some English lessons if you are not able to read what is written over here ?

Neeraja

I had mentioned in my complaint that I do not have a number currently & the reason for the same - "I can be reached at
neerajar9@rediffmail.com. I do not have any numbers presently due to my financial problems. Hence, only my email address."

Also I DO NOT TRUST AIRTEL executives to give the current location I am at, since I am worried that me & my people will get beaten up as said by Ajay Kumar - the advocate with Airtel.

Moreover, the mobile numbers that you are trying to contact me on have been disconnected long time back by Airtel for the non-payment of the bill.

My issues currently for which I need a response from Airtel -

1. Can you give me the time I had asked for to make the payment for the numbers or not ? (2 to 3 months by when one of us need to get a job a salary)

2. The behavior of the person calling himself Ajay Kumar (Ph# -
+********0139), who also claimed to be the advocate with Airtel, was to the dirtiest possible. What is Airtel doing about it other than just
sending one email template that says - "At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience faced by you." ? This was not just an inconvenience
caused to me, but an insult, a defamation of me with all my known
people and a defamation of all those people too. Or please do let me
know if Airtel approves the usage of foul/filthy/vulgar language by
their executives to collect the money.

I am hoping to get a positive response to my first concern & a proper explanation to my second issue !

Regards
Neeraja
