Hi
I've been residing at VGP sivasakthi nagar ,Rajakilpakam, east tambaram ( chennai) & i had applied for Airtel braodband by Dec 2010 ( Airtel application number CH1137797) . There is an airtel braodband connection with my very opposite home. So i thought it would be easy to get a broadband connection from airtel & applied to them. Their representative came & checked the feasibility and collected 500rs as deposit and he said conenction will be provided within a week time but their engineering team denied my request saying there is no enough ports . Then i collected back the cheque for that 500rs after a very long struggle. That's a different story... I dont want to get in to that now.
Now after nearly 2 years, when i approached back, they are saying the same story & also learned that they haven't provided a single connection in my area for the last 2 years. Now i want to notify two important concers
1) When Airtel doesnt have an infrastructure to provide broadband in chennai itself for 2 years, why they are promoting themselves that they are available in every nook and corner of the country
2) I'm really not sure what the Airtel marketing team is doing when there is a demand as BSNL is also saying the same story in my area. We can understand the BSNL case but why a company like Airtel is not utilising this demand.
