Airtel Mobile Karnataka - Airtel Karnataka Cheated me and kept me in dark.

Hello sir,
I am a resident of Madhya Pradesh and I am a very old customer of Airtel.When i came to Bangalore this year i decided to take airtel no. because of the service i got in M.P.
I am very sorry to say but i am absolutely not satisfied with the service provided by the Airtel in Karnataka to me.
On April 2010 i took a new number. ********39 and i have submitted My DL as an ID proof.but soon after i got a message that my documents has not been submitted and after that i went to Airtel relationship center,Dhuppanahalli,Bangalore,where they told me that my no. is deactivated from the company and cannot be recovered back.

After that my brother took a new no.********19,sim no. ********0500******** and submitted his PAN card as a ID proof and DL for Address proof.
Again after few days he got a message that the no.was not gone through the tele verification process and all the incoming and out going calls were barred.On the same day he called airtel customer care office for address verification and after about 30 minutes of hold they confirmed the address and said that the number will be activated within 24 hrs.He was happy 'coz next day the no.started working.
Unfortunately after about 1 month on 10-07-2010 eve all the signal went off and when i tried calling in his number i got a reply ' this is not a valid number'.
When he called in Airtel Customer Care,they said that the address verification was not done and so the company has deactivated the number.

I just wanted to know if address was not confirmed to them at the time the no. was barred then why did'nt they say it clearly.The number was circulated among the managers of the company he is working in and now he has to face problems as he was expecting many important calls.

At last we have decided not to take airtel number and infact we'll suggest our all friends not to take Airtel number.

@ Rachith: first of all I am not an Uncle...and second thing I've already changed my number after changing the state..and before leaving Bangalore i bought TATA DOCOMO..and it provides me the best service..better than Airtel.

I support this complaint.
this kind of companies r making money by the sim card its self and if if address verification is not done why do they activate the sim card
because the shopkeeper will never sell airtel sim and his commission will affect
but then who the hell cares for this complaint ok uncle from MP you dont take airtel connection you take BSNL ok bye................
