I am a vodafone prepaid lifetime subscriber. My number is ********92. Today (28/05/2011) I noticed my account balance was minus rs 2/-. I called the customer care. They informed me, I had activated a job alert service on 23/05/2011 and rs. 30.00 was deducted from my account. I told them that I sent no message or did nothing to activate the service. So I claimed the money back. He told me that the call would be transferred to his senior. But after some time it was disconnected. Then I call once more. This time the new person completely disagreed, and told that it was I,who activated the service. So, as he said, the money could not be refunded. I had nothing but to request him to deactivate the service. Because I had no idea how to deactivate it, even how to activate it. He told that he would send a message to my number containing the information. But no message received till now. After making a search in the internet, now I can deactivate it at last.
But I am very upset, and this kind of affairs happened in the previous time also and I have nothing to do as their was no other service provider in my locality. But now there are. And I have decided to change the service provider of my number the next month, if I do not get any positive response immediately.
Regards,
Pratap Adak,
********92
