The Airtel mobile signal at Thanjavur Medical college area is very poor. My mobile signal strength indicator often shows one bar during most of the time and in rare occasion two bars. I tested this SIM with my other 2 Mobile Phones to get the same signal strength. I have to come out of my house to make a call due to poor signal strength. Even if I get good signal, could not get clear speech. Very often, I used to get reports from my contacts that my number could not be accessed. I too find it very difficult to get other numbers from Thanjavur Medical College area towers. I have reported this mater to their customer service on too many times. About 15 days back, one Technician, from Madurai, contacted me and informed that there is a problem in their Server and will be rectified with in 48 hours and sought apology for the inconvenience. No improvement has taken place and statusquo is maintained by them.
