Cromton Greeves - Water heater Complaints - pathetic service in warranty period
I had purchased CG water heater on 24th Aug 2008 from Metro in Hyderbad. After February 2009, we started seeing water leaking from the heater. When we lodged a complaint with the service center in MArch 2009 (very tough to reach on phone), a guy called Raghuram came and said everything is fine the problem is with the water pipeline of the building. We checked with the plumber. The problem was with the heater.We had to keep calling the service center but it did not help much. We have lodged atleast 3 complaints in this regard and we are yet to get a resolution till today (July 19th 2009). The product is under warranty and if it can be replaced completely, I would be greatful. I tried reaching the corporate office number in Mumbai but there also I was facing the same problem, I could not connect with anyone.
Now if I call the CG technician on their mobile they do not pick up, Service center number is always busy (040-27207538), as if they have removed the phone. Any help that can be provided will be really appreciated.

I support this complaint.I too purchased a CG Gyeser which stopped functioning immediately on installation.The entire assembly is faulty and the service centre has checked the same.However there is no action to replace the Gyser or even repair it even though it is on warranty.I am tired of complaining and have no other option but to throw it away and file a case in the consumer forum.
