Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Y Venkateswar Reddy resident of Ichapuram, Dist: Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. I had been travelled from Ichapuram to Howrah on 26th March 2012 with holding general ticket, since the travel was not planned before. I was looking for Tatkal Ticket on same day by 12 noon, whereas chart was prepared and is being told in ticket counter.

As i have seen many times, Howrah and Chennai mail is heavy rush, why not there is another general compartment to avoid the heavy packup. Even i have seen, there are small kids who were travelling with there parents and how were they suffering.

Also requesting to indian railway to issue 2 reserve tickets in counter just 1 hr before of train schedule at each station as per schedule by presenting original proper ID proof. demand to passenger sign on photocopy of ID proof also in the register as per the signature in the original ID proof. Register should maintain at each station just to verify whether the ticket is issued to right person to avoid booking done by travel agents.

If there are more than two candidates from a group are travelling then remaining members should get waiting list tickets along with 2 reserve cofirm tickets, so they can adust in those two seats until the waiting list tickets get confirmed.

I have met one TTE in platform who was boarded at Khurda road. While i have requested him for one reserve ticket in sleeper coach before train depart, his demand was, if you can pay 400/- Rs then wait in S6. Also observed, there are many candidates following behind him. I am not sure, how many candidates would have got reserve ticket by paying 400/-? I believe there is no proper supervision, how many tickets are sold out with waiting list and out of it, how many are get confirmed at end of journey.

My request is to look into above points and take the neccessary actions accordingly to help better and safe journey to passangers.
