Dear Sir,
I have purchased a BSNL Prepaid Sim Card Mobile No.9489175135 on 23/11/2009 vide sim No.8991809031431074907 N under SARAL Plan. Meanwhile request for activation of GPRS was sent from this number and later several SMS were sent to deactivate the GPRS facility as well as spoke to Customer Service Care Executives. As my request for deactivating GPRS facility was not executed by the BSNL authority I stopped using the number temporarily and the validity period was expired in the month of October, 2010 and the talk time balance was about Rs.2.66 however the rate cutter remained valid till July, 2011. Accordingly on 4th of January, 2011, I have recharged sim with Rs.55/-. As per the scheme an amount of Rs.55/- will be the talk time on recharging with Rs.55/-. But my current balance is Rs.12.66 expires on 03/07/2011 and the booster expires on 25/05/2011. I deeply regret to state that when I chargedd the sim with Rs.55/- the talk time should be provided to the same tune. As such my current balance is showing only Rs.12.66. I have tried to contact customer care but my call was not sent to customer care executive to narrate/clarify the fact.
In this connection I would also like to inform you on recharging with Rs.55/- the plan of the card is changed automatically from SARAL to En Nanban Super.
I would like to know what is the reason behind deducting amount without any intimation. I also would like to know whether my request for deactivation of GPRS is effected in their record or not. If not so the GPRS facility should be deactivated. If I again recharged with Rs.55/- whether the BNSL authority will keep on deducting amounts without any reason and intimation or else?
I need a clarification whether to continue the BSNL sim or to throw and use other service providers enabling me protect my hard earned money from such unknown deductions.
Regards
Thiagarajan S
