We travelled from Hubli to Bengaluru on 23.9.2011 vide train No. 56912/SBC Fast Passenger. IWe had confirmed ticket and we travelled in Sleeper class, coach no. S5 seat Nos. 35, 37 & 38. PNR No. 4233253569.
When we boarded the train at Hubli, toilets were stinking in our coach. Since we reached Hubli station almost nearing to scheduled departure time, we boarded and occupied our seats. Even though it was a reserved compartment, coach was filled with unreserved passengers, who were not only occupying every vacant seats, but also were standing. No TC came to verify the ticket till Haveri, which is about 72 kms. Most of the unreserved passenger alighted at or before Haveri. When TC came after Haveri, we asked for complaint book for giving complaint regarding stinking of toilet. He said it is with guard. When we went to guard and repeatedly asked for complaint book he not only refused to give the complaint book but commented that for the fare you are paying, railways are not going to clean the toilets. Again we asked TC, he stated that the train is continuously on the run and there is no time to clean it. After alighting at Bengaluru, we went in search of station master but his office was locked.
