Railway reservations are now can be booked 120 days before date of journey. I went to book my ticket on line for Vasco to Nijamuddin train journey from Miraj to Nijamuddin by Feb 2012 for journey date May 20, 2012 and I got the reservation but I am in waiting list and same still in waiting list.

Now many tours and travels cos have launched their tour program for which they accept tourist entry and assure railway birth on same route and almost same date. It is obvious that they already have booked tickets in fake name and addresses. It is openly black marketing of railway reservation.

I therefore request to enforce identity proof for all types of reservations to stop this type of black mailing.
