For all those who are thinking of taking new service from Rcom, please think again; they are bunch of crooks, they don’t know how to give
telecommunication service; their so called “Customer Care” service does everything to upset customer.

My story with Rcom

I was using their Home phone for past several years. Their service was never up to the mark. Both connectivity and equipment

On August 1, 2010, I decided to terminate this service; therefore I went to their office with telephone and latest bill; After 2 hours of discussion they agreed upon terminating my service and asked me to pay different amount. Trusting their words I paid new amount. I thought the service would get disconnected.

On August 4, 2010, Rcom technician came to my house; He wanted to repair my Rcom home phone; I told him there is no need to repair rcom service since I no longer use Rcom telephone line.

On August 13, 2010, I found out that service is still on, therefore wrote a email; same day got a reply from them (Service Request ID 134404409); they asked me to wait for 3 more days.

On August 16, 2010, another email stating they have forwarded my complaint to appropriate department and they are looking into it.

On September 4, 2010, I a got new bill from Rcom; Again I went back to their office; Again it took 2 hours to explain my case; this time I insisted on some documentary evidence suggesting that they have closed my service. Unable to give that, they asked me to surrender telephone machine; and gave me “phone surrender” receipt.

Long story short, I still don’t know whether I will be receiving another bill next month? Which language or procedure they understand for closing telephone connection?
