Complaint by: Prasad on September 1, 2010, 1:14 pm in Indian Railways

Today (1/09/2010) I was traveling by 09:56 Goregaon to Churchget Local Train. Train speed was excellent but when it was passing near Bandra, Harbor Train bridge (at turning) with speed might be 100 km/hr or more, different strongly audible sound (normally heard while passing Khandala Ghat or while changing the tracks i.e. created because of friction between wheels & rails while taking turns)was heard for about 10 sec.
Here I would like to draw kind attention of Rly. authority towards this incident. The sound normally heard while passing Khandala Ghat or while changing the tracks & sound that I had heard at Bandra, the difference is of speed of the train. The speed of the train normally observed at Khandala Ghat or while changing the tracks is extremely slow but here train was passing with quit high speed.
Being a regular passenger of the local train, it is my duty to draw your kind attention towards this incident to avoid any mishap in the future.

Thanking You,

P.R.Masurkar
