Hi,
I was traveling with my family in train number 12103 Pune Luckhnow Exp on 28 of Oct from Pune to Bhopal. PNR number is 8414502009, Coach B1, 23 & 24 seat number. Since the AC was quite warm we and our baby was feeling quite thirsty. I saw two men in the coach passing, who were pantry staff, selling water bottles together from the same lot. When I gave them the correct amount of Rs 15/- for a bottle they refused to accept and said that it is Rs 20/-. Which was clearly a case of over charging when we have no option. I pointed to them that the correct price is Rs 15/- set by railways and they can't over charge me. They refused to sell me the bottle. I also said to them that few hours before I bought it in Rs 15/- to which they did not agree. In the end I had to pay Rs 20/- because I was having no option in the night time when my family was in need of water. I asked their name as they were not carrying any name tag. They did not tell their name. One was looking in uniform wearing white shirt and the other was not. The one not in uniform also had a mustache. I can recognize the two. They over charged me by 33.33% on a bottle. Now the bigger issue is not just the money. They are taking advantage of our situation. They are rude and rough. Moreover its a case of corruption at lower level where they are overcharging every one and making money for themselves and possibly their bosses. We should have zero tolerance towards corruption and such staff should be immediately punished and the pantry contractor should also be fined heavily.
Regards,
Akshat Sharma

Hello,
Despite many complaints,
1) why we dont have proper dress code, batch for the railway staff. Everytime, we are overcharged for the pathetic food options in Railway. I suggest, we should have menu's electronically published and managed by railways so that vendors have no options to loot and also staff with no batch and names should not be allowed to board the train.
2) The bigger issue is too many people in the train and platform without ticket, rather we should have all railway station covered and upgraded to airport model where only passengers with genuine ticket should be allowed to enter the premises. This would inturn help in terms of security and management
