I have also filed my returns about a few years back wherein a refund of Rs 800 and odd is due but not recd. My PAN no is ADWPA 4738L. A few emails received asking me my credit or debit card details and pin for which I replied. But soon after adviced my children I came to know that it might be a phishing e mail since IT officials do not call for card details and pin and changed the same. No reply since than.

An email communication has been sent to Income Tax Department on October 23, 2011, 10:44 am
I have submitted tax for the year 2011-12 . I have acknowledgement for the refund of 9k . So far i did not get the money and no updations . I have been follow up with an agent who has submitted the form 16.
I even have visited the tax office. As they did not respond with proper details.
In this regard i would like to know the alternate approach :( ?
