I have purchased a Nokia C5 mobile worth Rs.7400 on 26/1/11.
There was an issue that mobile is switching off in between (rarely, happened 3 times) and it used to switch on after pressing switch on button.
On 23/2/11 it is observed that mobile suddenly it failed to work with no display and response at any commands and it is not getting switched on.
I went to Nokia care at West Tambaram (P.Orr & Sons (P) Ltd.,1st floor,31,Ayya Samy Street,Opp J.K.Furniture,West Tambaram,Chennai-600045 Ph.42112897) on same day and discussed about the issue.
I was told to come next day. when I went on 24/2/11 it was told again to come tomorrow. No replacement mobile was given for temporary use.
It is told that (on 25/2/11) there is a fluid damage (which I don’t agree) and it is not rectifiable under warranty and even if they rectify (Rs.1500 to be paid), I will not get any future warranty and they are not sure whether it can be rectified.

From my side, I have used the mobile less than one month and there was no incident of misuses (falling in water/using in rain etc) and this issue of switching off (rarely) was there initially itself.
On 23/2/11 mobile was working fine morning and it switched off around 10am inside my office only.
So being this is a genuine product concern, I am requesting you to look into the matter on priority and resolve the issue, in case of failure I will be forced to go for legal proceedings.
If Nokia doesn’t improve in the quality/ customer care, it will lose customer confidence drastically.

I expect that Nokia being trusted brand and caring for customer will do the needful.
