HI ,
I purchased sony c510 handset by 21-1-2010 from nearest shop.
i found my handset gets hanged many a times.
also it front case/cover got weird glow a nearby screen ( liquid like) even tough my handset never got wet at all.
i went to nearest service center in pune ( RT Outsourcing ) tilak road., pune on 1st OCt 2010
they took my handset for rep airy and deliver it on 19 Oct 2010.
But again........ same problem happened in December 2010 . i went to service center and
showed the problem.... But this time they refused to give me service as warranty period is about to finish after two months.
after making lot of quarrel they submitted my handset for repairy saying part is not available right now and it will took a month to become available. If the warranty period expired by deliver date you have to pay charges !!
Is this the service SONY offers to clients/customers. again why sony sells their faulty product...
Again worst case is other service center Accel Frontline, shivajinagar pune refused t give service saying no warranty for cosmetic parts; i selected / purchased the c510
for his look as well and getting weird look because of poor qaulity material in product ; why should i suffer this problem..
