This is to bring to your kind attention the pathetic levels of workmanship provided by the Popular service centre at kollam. My alto met a minor accident On 25 th February., its dickey, bumper, Combination lamp and Right fender and Skirt become damaged. I gave vehicle to popular service centre kollam on next day 26 th February). They promised me that they can deliver it within a week. They have delayed delivery for 2.5 weeks with lot of lame excuses like parts availability and labor availability. Finally they promised to deliver it on 13 th March . That day was really painful for me. On the first look itself I came to know that that they have spoiled my Alto in full. My car’s Body shape was lost+ Denting problems +full paint is totally damaged .Later i found some irregularities in the right side of bumper. And dents inside car were also not rectified. Marks of accident are visible they have just painted the area without correcting dents. I made complaint to maruti . As a result of my complaint the situation becomes worse. Dickey is hitting bumper. I projected those issues but Mr Sandeep Declared that they can’t do any more. This is the final. I contacted Mrs Nisha(Manager Kollam office). She promised me that she would take care of this and asked me not to send complaints again. I got convinced and agreed to wait another 2 days . They corrected issues after two days and i signed their satisfaction voucher as I didn’t noticed any more issues . I thought they have corrected the issues as I have made complaints to Maruti . I paid the Bill and took delivery. Next day I tried to open Dickey it’s not opening. Finally I opened but my key got bend a bit. I accidently noticed that running board is still damaged they just covered damaged areas with plastic panels’. i made a detailed investigation in day light. I have found the following problems
1) Visible marks of accident on running board
2) Auto cop security system is not functioning On off switch of auto cop security system (Dickey Side) is stealed. (Previously it was working fine. popular technicians stealed it)
3) Unable to open/ close dickey (lock and striker is not fixed properly)
4) dickey is located to right side (Poor alignment)
5)Rear Right Door is not closing properly (running board Issues+ Door Alignment)
6) left Side Mud Flap is damaged (Accident happened to right side only)
I contacted Maruti and requested a detailed checkup from another dealer . on 19 th March I got call from mr Sajith Kumar , he explained that Popular has rejected my arguments they can’t do anything in this case. Sajith Kumar asked me to visit any other convenient dealer and get the vehicle inspected. I followed his instructions. Another Dealer Investigated My vehicle and admitted that my observations are 100% correct. I informed the same to maruti on 21 March. I didn’t get a reasonable feedback from your end till date. I feel cheated. It’s clear that they had tried their level best to cheat me. I am loyal customer of Maruti since 2005. I never experienced such a pathetic response from Maruti. This is above my tolerance limits. It is purely the liability of maruti india Ltd because you have sold a vehicle without providing proper dealership conditions.. I would like to hear your decision in this regard within 15 days from the receipt of my complaint.
