Over the last few months, ticket booking thru irctc has become extreamly difficult. Whenevet I try logging in the site, either the session is timed out due to slow response or if by chance I move on to book the ticket, the transaction fails almost 4 out of 5 times.
The performance of the site has degraded over the past few months. I am a weekly traveller from Bhubaneshwar to Kolkata, this response time is causing a huge problem in ticket booking.
Complainant's Goal: Irctc website response time and performance needs to be improved.

I'm also feeling the same. But when I book tickets through make my trip, it's working much better. I think IRCTC is finding multiple ways to generate the revenue and this is also part of that.
