When no action was taken even till 29th Jan 2011, as directed by the customer care at IRCTC I had sent a mail at tdrprocess@irctc.co.in. To this I received an automated reply as follows.
"Dear Customer, Sorry for the inconvenience.Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No.2********3 has been forwarded to CCM/NRBSB Railway on 01-Oct-2010 As refund is yet to be received from concerned railway, we have sent a reminder on 2-February-2011 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account. With regards, TDR TEAM"
The minimum time for refund to be credited into the account is 90 and if nothing is done even after more than 200 days that is totally uncalled for. On top of that an automated mail that not even states the exact date by which the refund would be received but only loosely states that 'As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.' only adds to one's irritation.
I have complied to all the rules pertaining to the filling of TDR and thus see no reason for the delay
Request you to kindly look into the matter and take the action at the earliest.
