My friend & I was coming from a superfast train but we do not know that was a superfast train.When we reached kanpur plateform the t.c cheked our tickets.We have only EXPRESS TRAIN ticket.So that t.c was demanding 512 rupees AS FINE.We did not had money.Then he took our tickets and asked to give him 100 rupees.We did not have other option.So we gave him. But plz tell us the railways fine rules because common man have no idea about it.
Complainant's Goal: to provide information of fine to common man.

plz tell us the railways fine rules because common man have no idea about fines.All TTs TCs Collecting more amount from all the common man.Please Give the details of fine rules.
I do not support this complaint.if you ever travel in superfast train without a valid superfast ticket you are liable to a penalty of rs250 + rs9 superfast charge for each person.
you luckily escaped from the total penalty by bribing the tc and saved your money too
