Western Railway - I am not sattisfied with your service

I wanted to book a ticket on Tr. No 12936 Intercity SF Exp. from Vapi to Dadar.
I requested the booking clerk to issue me a ticket upto Dadar and reservation upto BDTS as the train terminates at Bandra terminus.
I was told that it is not possible. So I requested to give me Mumbai Central ticket, to which also the clerk refused by saying not possible. Finally I had to book a ticket upto Borivali.
After getting down at Borivali I have to get a ticket to Dadar which is not convenient at this old age.
This I was told is possible for other trains terminating at BDTS but not for the above train.

Pl clarify. This is very much inconvenient
