Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Subramanya. This is regarding my travel experience on April 19th 2012 from Hosadurga Road to Bangalore (Train No. 56910).

On April 18th 2012, i had been issued the Blank Paper Ticket No.124224 from Hosadurga Road Railway Station and alloted the seat nos. 57 & 58 at Coach No. 52 at train no. 56910 against my request for 2 passengers for the Journey date of April 19th 2012 from Hosadurga Road to Bangalore.

When we went to board the train on April 19th 2012, we were surprised to hear that our name was not mentioned on the chart list and seats were not alloted. We have been informed by TT that our reservation is not confirmed and not alloted the seats. The TT of Train No. 56912 said now everything is computerised and the BPT (Blank Paper ticket) is not valid anymore. He informed us to check with train no. 56910 where we may find the names in chart of Coach No 57 atleast. Even in train no. 56910 we did not find our names in the chart. For your information i was not feeling well and we were very much disturbed on this issue as the coach 52 was just behind the engine and the coach no. 57 on very rear of the train.

Finally after crossing several stations, the TT of train no. 56910 was contacted the mysore office to reconfirm and finally alloted the seat nos 24 & 24 for us at coach no. 57 and it was too late.

I am hereby kindly requesting you to please avoid troubling the passengers like this manner as we were not responsible for the issue caused.

Indian Railways simply collects the fines and penalites from the ticket less passengers without hearing their problem and in this case how you are going to help us.
