Planet Sports - I ahve diched by the sales person

I have purchased a cricket bat for Rs 1099/= for my son aged 14 by asking the salesam for leather ball at 4.45 Pm on 7th Jun 2009 from Planet Sports, MGF Mall Gurgaon. When my son started playing, with in 10 balls the bat got cracked. and immediately we informed the shop over phone follwed by personal vist at 5.30 Pm onthe same day.

The person sitting in cash counter refused to accept the claim by saying that the said bat is only for to play with tennis ball, to my surprise though we have asked the salesman as leather bat at the time of purchase he cooly denied. even on the bat their is no instruction about not to play with leather ball. When we explained all , he is willing to accepet the claim and refuse to give the money back. He advised me to take a bat for Rs 3500/=. I told my inability to spend Rs 3500/= for a bat. But he is not willing to hear, he is only forcing me to take something or get credtit note which can be used within next 30 days.

When I asked for a pair shoes to my son, that is also not availbale with them. Now i am in a fix to buy somthing to get back my earlier paid money towards the bat wheather it is required or not.

Kindly get back refund for me, since nothing is required from that shop and everything is very expensive and my lifestyle does not permit for it. and the shop people are traped as by saying leather ball bat after spending Rs 1099/ now they forced as to buy a bat for Rs 3500/= which i feel it is very unfare trade practice.
